Who is the training for?
This training on how to run a badass campaign for local office is for current and future candidates interested in running for local elections and those who want to support and learn about rural campaigning.
Elections for local offices are happening all over North Central Washington this year from city council and school board to mayor, and we’re looking for working people who have skin in the game and want to run!

Why do Local Elections Matter?
We work hard to earn what we need. When bills need to be paid, when food needs to be served, we put our heads down and get our hands dirty. We look out for our neighbors and our schools because we know we are all just getting by. Working people get that, the superrich don’t. They want us to be ok with underfunded schools and roads. They want us to move on when they slash our jobs and dirty our land and water. They think we are not going to put up a fight, but we’ve got a vision of a better future for our communities. That is why we are building up new leaders. Leaders who will take a stand for working people because they have skin in the game.
Whether you’re ready to run, you’ve given it some thought, or you want to know what’s involved because you're interested in helping us find more Rural People’s Leaders. This training is for working people who want to win local offices so rural people can get more representatives that work for us, and the better future we deserve.
